Events in Physics
The Ministry of Defence, via the Defence and Security Accelerator and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, invites proposals for its accelerator open call for innovation. This supports innovative ideas to improve defence and security. These may be a concept, product or service, at any stage of development. The call supports:
鈥deas, products and services at any level of maturity from anywhere in the UK or abroad;
鈥cience and technology, behavioural science, social science or anything else that might be useful to defence or security;
鈥ubmissions from people, researchers, and companies who are new to defence and security;
鈥uick wins and longer-term improvements.
All types of organisations and individuals of any nationality may apply, except for other government departments, agencies or public bodies, or any government-funded organisations either in the UK or overseas.
The total budget available for this initiative is 拢4.5 million. Grants are usually worth between 拢40,000 and 拢100,000 each over three to nine months.
