2-Stage call
The European Commission Horizon 2020: Industrial Leadership, under the leadership in enabling and industrial technologies – nanotechnologies, advanced materials, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing and processing work programme, invites proposals for its H2020-NMBP-ST-IND-2018 industrial sustainability call. This supports projects that further strengthen the global leadership of Europe’s industry in environmental sustainability, through a combination of mature and disruptive technologies. Proposals may address the following topics within catalysing the circular economy, clean energy through innovative materials and cultural heritage:
•CE-NMBP-24-2018 catalytic transformation of hydrocarbons;
•CE-NMBP-26-2018 smart plastic materials with intrinsic recycling properties by design;
•LC-NMBP-30-2018 materials for future highly performant electrified vehicle batteries;
•NMBP-33-2018 innovative and affordable solutions for the preventive conservation of cultural heritage.
Proposals may take the form of research and innovation actions or innovation actions, depending on the topic addressed. Research and innovation actions and innovation actions require participation by at least three legal entities; each established in a different EU member state or Horizon 2020 associated country. Legal entities established in a third country, who secure their own funding, may be included in the consortia.
Each successful proposal is expected to receive between €4 million and €8m, although proposals for other amounts will also be considered. The total indicative budget for this call is worth €79m.
