CERN invites applications for its scientific associates programme. This offers the use of research facilities to associates who are on a leave of absence from their host institution, to participate in programmes covering experimental and theoretical particle physics, as well as related activities in applied physics, electronics, computing and engineering.
Applicants must remain employed at their home institute during their appointment. No associateship can be awarded less than five years after the end date of an earlier paid associateship, fellowship or staff position at CERN.
A subsistence allowance of between CFH 6,293 to CFH 8,913 is provided as well as a family allowance under certain circumstances.
The duration of the contract is one year, though extensions may be granted in exceptional cases.
