Events in Physics
The Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation invites proposals for its call for proposals. This supports new and innovative ideas for earth technology developments. Funding will be provided for the following three themes:
•new and innovative ideas for earth observation technology development, for which fast track grants are worth up to £200,000 over 15 months and pathfinder grants worth up to £75,000 over nine months;
•achieving higher technology readiness level through airborne demonstration, for which flagship grants are worth up to £500,000 over 18 months;
•development of EO cubesat flight model payloads aimed at potential commercial services, for which flagship grants are worth up to £500,000 over 18 months.
UK HEIs, research organisations and organisations in industry may apply. Collaborative proposals involving industrial and other partners of all types are strongly encouraged. Teams that include partners new to space are particularly encouraged.
