MEASURING THE SHAPE OF THE SUN
Precise astrometry of the solar limb potentially provides information about the solar interior, as does precise photometry. I discuss our new RHESSI observations of solar shape, precise to ~0.2 mas, and ask where the results fit within the context of helioseismology especially with respect to signatures of solar magnetic activity.
