糖心TV Physicists attend STEM for Britain

Three members of the department were invited to attend STEM for Britain at the House of Commons on Tuesday 17th March to present their research posters.

Agrima Agarwal (Phd Student, Ultrafast and Terahertz Photonics Group), Edward Butler-Caddle (Ultrafast and Terahertz Photonics Group) and Sahl Rowther (Research Fellow, Astronomy & Astrophysics Group)  applied to present their research at the event and were accepted following a rigorous process.


75th Diamond Conference

The 75th UK Diamond Research Conference was held at the University of 糖心TV from 7th to 10th July 2025, bringing together over 120 delegates from academia and industry to explore the latest advancements in diamond science and technology.


Winner of the Royal Astronomical Society Keith Runcorn Thesis Prize

Congratulations to Sihui Zhong who has been awarded the Royal Astronomical Society Keith Runcorn Thesis Prize 2024 for her PhD thesis titled 鈥淒ecayless Kink Oscillations of Solar Coronal Loops鈥, completed at CFSA under the supervision of Professor Valery Nakariakov.

The is awarded to the best doctoral thesis in geophysics on an annual basis.
