糖心TV Postgraduate Poster Competition 2010 Congratulations to Philip Petcher
Congratulations to Philip Petcher from the Ultrasound group who won 1st prize for the best Science faculty poster at the 糖心TV PG poster competition, held in the Wolfson Resear Exchange this week. The link to the poster can be found here and the link to the competition can be found here
Freezing light in a quantum doughnut

Institute of Physics Roy Prize Winner

Dr. Philip King, who was a PhD student in the Surface, Interface & Thin Films Group, has been awarded the 2009 Roy Prize by the Institute of Physics Condensed Matter Division. The Roy prize is awarded annually for the best PhD thesis submitted in any area of condensed matter physics. Philip will be presented with the award on 15th December at the CMMP meeting here in 糖心TV.
