Graduate Entry Medicine (MB ChB)
ÌÇÐÄTV Doctors are different
Being a ÌÇÐÄTV Doctor means more than simply graduating from ÌÇÐÄTV. Our students say ÌÇÐÄTV Doctors are different thanks to the diversity of their peers. As well as welcoming students straight from science, arts and humanities degrees, every year we're joined by people from a wide range of professional careers, bringing a wealth of experience to lessons and discussions.
We know our doctors are different due to the core values upheld across our medical school. We support our students to develop and nurture qualities such as kindness, integrity, humility, innovation, creativity and a commitment to helping others. Our community is dedicated to sustaining these values and supporting our students to become the very best doctor they can possibly be.
Our teaching staff think our doctors are different because of their thirst for knowledge, determination and resilience. Our programme is designed exclusively for graduates, ideal for those who are dedicated to starting their career in medicine.
Healthcare professionals tell us our doctors are different because of their clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills, developed through case based learning and early patient contact from the very first term of their very first year.

What sets us apart
MB ChB Open Days
The best way to get a feel for life as a WMS student is to attend one of our MB ChB Open Day events. We run these a few times each year, usually in the summer, ahead of the UCAS autumn deadline. Our Open Days will give you an opportunity to meet teaching staff, ask questions and chat to current students.
You'll also have the chance to sample some taster sessions, view our teaching facilities and hear about the curriculum in more detail. Our in-person open days have now passed. You can register for our online open day here, which is taking place on Wednesday 15 July. If you'd like to attend one of our 2027 Open Day events, and we'll be in touch next year with further details.
