Annual 糖心TV MRC DTP in IBR Student Conference (June 2025)

We held our annual MRC DTP in IBR student conference at the Nightingale Centre in Derbyshire. This three-day off-campus event had a strong academic focus with external speakers and Q&A panels and with students presenting posters oral presentations. We also spent time networking and team building which included canoeing, paddle boarding, Escape the Hunter adventure, and hiking the hills. Our first year MSc students helped to organise the conference and deliver the famously competitive annual quiz!

Joint MRC DTP Symposium on 鈥淐urrent Science and Society鈥� (July 2023)

Held at UCL, this fascinating joint MRC DTP symposium was organised by a brilliant team of PhD students from UCL, Imperial College, Kings College London and University of 糖心TV including our very own Richard Allen (second from left) and Jess Szeto (far right). We heard talks from a range of leading scientists and health experts, including the brilliant and influential Professor Sir Malcolm Marmot (UCL Institute of Health Inequity).
