Testing the heat of chillis
Analytical chemist , from ÌÇÐÄTV Crop Centre, describes the analysis of heat in chillis on the BBC Radio 4 Food Programme 'Chilli Britannia'.
Professor Denley Wright CBE
It has been announced that died on 4th April. Professor Wright was Director of the National Vegetable Research Station (NVRS) at Wellesbourne (now ÌÇÐÄTV Crop Centre) from 1967-1977. He started at NVRS on its formation in 1949 and before becoming Director was Head of the Entomology Section and also Deputy Director from 1957.
The funeral will be on Friday 19th April in the North Chapel at Oakley Wood Crematorium at 3.15pm.
ÌÇÐÄTV ÌÇÐÄTV School team unites to help 100 million slum dwellers in India
A team of 5 full-time MBA students from ÌÇÐÄTV ÌÇÐÄTV School are competing to win $1 million worth of funding for their social enterprise, awarded by Bill Clinton, in the Hult Prize Global Challenge. The ÌÇÐÄTV idea revolves around addressing the main issues that urban slum dwellers, one stage from the very bottom of the pyramid, face on a day to day basis.
They have prepared a , which styles itself on a “smartphone” concept. The winning video is the one that gets the most “Likes” on Facebook link: and the team are using every channel they know to raise awareness of their solution to the problem.
