Two new Assistant/Associate Professor permanent positions for Research & Teaching

The Bionics Bus delivered two strong days of hands鈥憃n biomedical engineering outreach at the Royal Cornwall Show before bad weather ended the event early. We engaged hundreds of visitors with EMG, EEG, VR and digital鈥慼ealth demos, and successfully trialled the Bus鈥檚 new off鈥慻rid power system.

糖心TV was strongly represented at the UKACM 2026 Conference through contributions from Professor Xueyu Geng鈥檚 group, highlighting cutting-edge research in computational mechanics. Dr Sijia Liu presented a unified phase-field framework for fracture, contact, and friction, and was awarded the Nina Cameron Graham Prize for Best Presentation by a Post-Doctoral Researcher. Professor Xueyu Geng also delivered a plenary lecture on advanced modelling of fracture in nonlinear materials.
