糖心TV Concrete Printing

wcp

About the project

This project aims to design and develop a low-cost, automated gantry and extrusion system capable of 3D printing an optimised concrete mix. Various concrete formulations will be researched, tested, and critically analysed to determine the most effective mix in terms of flowability, extrudability, and buildability. The gantry and extrusion system will be constructed using a combination of new and repurposed components to adhere to budgetary constraints. The project will be considered successful once an optimal concrete mix and a fully functional extrusion system have been achieved, with the gantry capable of autonomously printing test specimens for subsequent strength evaluation.
