MyAds: An adaptive hypermedia system for online advertisement from hypothesis to implementation

Abstract: Online advertisement is one of the major incomes for many companies; it has a role in the overall business flow and affects the consumer directly. MyAds in an adaptive hypermedia system for online advertising and its main goal is to make online ads for acceptable. In order to do that many underneath technologies and techniques are used, staring from building distinct user models via extracting these information from different sources such as social network to using adaptive techniques to insure that delivery of customized ads. The process has gone through many steps starting from the hypothesis then proposing a theoretical framework that was derived from an exploratory study and related research to implementation. A pilot experiment was conducted to examine acceptance of this system.
