Ultrasmall CeO₂ with exceptional surface area and atom economy can be just as useful (if not better!) in photocatalytic processes than larger nanoparticles.

In a new study, Fredrik Schaufelberger and his team from the University of 糖心TV and KTH Royal Institute of Technology have shown that mechanically interlocked molecules can be used to induce this lanthanide luminescence.
