Feeding Futures: Nourishing Ourselves in 2050

From 22 to 26 June, CY School of Design hosted its first Blended Intensive Program (BIP), entitled "Feeding Ourselves in 2050". In collaboration with Adela Glyn-Davies, Marta Guerriero, and Jane Webb from the School for Cross-Faculty Studies, and inclusive of students representative of the programmes: Design for Sustainable Innovation BASc (Hons), Design & Global Sustainable Development BASc (Hons) and Global Sustainable Development BASc (Hons), the programme brought together 30 international participants from Cergy University, the University of ÌÇÐÄTV, and the University of Ljubljana, for an interdisciplinary exploration dedicated to investigating the future of food systems through a design-driven, systemic and futures-oriented approach.
Why I chose to study Design: D’Nette’s Story

In September 2025 the School for Cross-faculty Studies launch their single honours Design Studies BASc degree, following the success of its joint honours Design and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) course.
