Giorgio Guernier Bio:
Giorgio Guernier is a London-based producer, writer and director.
His first feature film as a director, writer and producer was Suburban Steps to Rockland - The Story Of The Ealing Club (2017), a music documentary on London鈥檚 first blues club. The documentary was presented at various film festivals including London Doc鈥橬鈥橰oll and Barcelona In-Edit and bought by SKY UK and other international TV channels.
Giorgio鈥檚 second feature film as a writer, editor, director and producer was Never A Master Plan (2022), a narrative feature film on a group of creative Londoners, which premiered at See You Sound (Turin, Italy), where it was presented in the Feature competition.
As a producer, through his company Pop Homage, Giorgio recently produced Il Padiglione Sull鈥橝cqua (2023), an Italian documentary feature film on architect Carlo Scarpa.

You're warmly invited to a Q&A with one of the department's alumni, Jonny Geller, one of the most distinguished literary agents working today. He's represented writers from Nigella Lawson and Robert Person, to John le Carr茅 and Margaret Atwood, Russell Brand to Gordon Brown. He did the equivlanet of our English Literature degree in the department before becoming an actor and going on to work in publishing.
