Module Selection Form (2026-2027)
Instructions
Below you will be asked to fill in the year you will be starting in the 2026-2027 academic year, your current course route (unless you have been allocated a place on the Renaissance/Venice stream), and module preference details. Each Module can only be ranked once.
Please note that this form is for students under the following categories:
- Students whose home department is History (single and joint-honours)
- Language and History students wishing to take History modules
- English and History students wishing to take History modules
- GSD and History students wishing to take History modules
- Law with Humanities and Liberal Arts students wishing to take History modules
*You will only be able to select History modules and Pre-approved Outside Option modules on this form. Joint-honours students will need to check with their other department how module selection for non-History modules will take place.
Please be aware that all module choices submitted via the form will be considered as your module preferences.
History Part-Time Students
History part-time students should use the part-time form.
Non-History Students
Non-History students who wish to apply for a History module as part of their outside options should use the external form.
Submission Deadline
This form must be submitted by 12 noon (UK time) on Monday 28 September 2026. Places are not allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Students may resubmit the form with different nominations as often as they wish before the submission deadline; the last form submitted by each student will be used in the module allocation process.
Students who do not submit their module preferences by the deadline will have their optional modules selected for them.
Outside Options
You will only be able to select Pre-approved Outside Option modules via this form. We cannot guarantee placements on any outside options.
Students who wish to take outside options not included in the list of pre-approved modules must complete the approval form to be sent to the relevant year director and then request a module swap once approved.
This form is closed and is no longer accepting any submissions.
If you have not yet submitted a module selection form, please email your module ranking to HistoryModules@warwick.ac.uk. Students who submit their module selections late will be allocated their modules after students who submitted the form before the deadline.
