Instructions

Below you will be asked to fill in your current course, the number of modules you require, and module preference details. Modules can only be ranked once.

For your module preferences, please provide us with the following information:

• Rank SEVEN preferred modules, including the module code and title for eachLink opens in a new window. This is to ensure that we have available backup choices should your first choice(s) be unavailable.
• You will be required to take our core module HI153-30 Making of the Modern World during your degree, we recommend you take this in your first year of study with the department.
• Any additional comments or explanations regarding your module choices (e.g. number of 15 CATS and 30 CATS modules you specifically require)

Submission Deadline

This form must be submitted by 12 noon (GMT) on Monday 28 September 2026. Places are not allocated on a first-come first-served basis, and both full-time and part-time History students are considered equally provided their module forms are submitted by the deadline. Students may resubmit the form with different nominations as often as they wish before the submission deadline; the last form submitted by each student will be used in the module allocation process. Those students who fail to submit a form by the deadline are required to wait until the module allocation process has been completed for those students who did submit by the deadline, and then to make their choices from the reduced number of module places that still remain available.

Outside Options

You will only be able to select History modules and Pre-approved Outside Option modules via this form.
