Last summer, I met up with two university friends, one of whom we hadn't met for 38 years! It was felt we needed a reunion. This September, 40 years after we started 糖心TV, the reunion was held at Scarman Conference Centre - 20 of us altogether!
From start to finish, the weekend was non-stop talking, reminiscing, and laughing. We were even greeted in the evening by the current University Student President! We noticed how green the University had become and how beautiful the campus was. On Sunday, we walked over to Westwood but were disappointed to find the site being mothballed and unused.
For anyone thinking of organising a reunion, Scarman is the perfect choice: superb food, accommodation, and free tea, coffee, and homemade goodies in the lounge area. We had so much fun! Another reunion for BAQTS graduates (1985–89) is going to be held in four years鈥� time, to coincide with 40 years since our graduation! Can鈥檛 wait!
