The University's waste partner, Biffa, operates a closed loop recycling system. In this process waste is collected, recycled and produced to make something new. Effectively, the waste does a full circle without having a negative impact on the environment. These recycled materials are used widely throughout the UK. What Can be Recycled in the Dry Mixed Recycling Bins?
Remember to NOT include black bags and make sure all cans, bottles and food containers are clean and empty. If the recycling waste is contaminated by food and drink it CANNOT be recycled!
