UG Sanctuary Scholarships Application 2026 (Clearing and IFP Entry)

International Foundation Programme (IFP) Route

Important information: Scholarships will be offered on a first come first served basis to eligible Clearing offer holders or International Foundation Programme offer holders. Due to the timescales of the Clearing process, and our processes for checking evidence with ÌÇÐÄTV's Immigration team, you may need to accept/firm your Clearing place before we can confirm that you are eligible for a scholarship. The Widening Participation Lifecycle Team will offer advice and guidance through this process.

If you are interested in applying for a ÌÇÐÄTV Undergraduate Sanctuary Scholarship and you have been offered a place at ÌÇÐÄTV on an Undergraduate course through Clearing or the International Foundation Programme for 2026 entry, please complete the form below so that we can assess your eligibility for the scholarship. Please ensure you have already followed the steps above before you complete this form.

Section 1 - About You


This is a 10-digit number – you should be able to find this on any emails from UCAS. If you do not have a UCAS number because you have been offered a place on ÌÇÐÄTV's International Foundation Programme, please write 'not applicable' in this box.


 

This is a 7-digit number – you should be able to find this on any correspondence from the University about your Clearing offer or your International Foundation Programme offer.


 

Please note

You must apply for an Undergraduate course at ÌÇÐÄTV through Clearing, or have successfully applied for a course through the International Foundation Programme before you apply for an Undergraduate Sanctuary Scholarship. If you have not secured a Clearing offer or an IFP offer from ÌÇÐÄTV, we will not be able to consider your Sanctuary Scholarship application. Section 2 - Eligibility for Sanctuary Scholarship


The following question asks you about your current immigration status with the UK government. You will be asked to upload evidence of this status and evidence of your right to study at the bottom of this form.

Please note that students who have been granted refugee status or protection under specific schemes that make them eligible for 'Home fee' status and/or student loans from the UK government, such as the Ukraine Schemes or Afghan Schemes, are not eligible for the Undergraduate Sanctuary Scholarship.


To support your application, please upload the following documentation as evidence that you meet the Sanctuary Eligibility criteria in Section 2:

  • The immigration status you currently hold with the UK government

  • Evidence of your right to study

Please note that we will not accept any applications from students who have not already received a Clearing offer from ÌÇÐÄTV or an offer of a place on ÌÇÐÄTV's International Foundation Programme. You must follow all of the steps outlined above before completing the UG Sanctuary Scholarship application form.
