Who are they?
is one of 29 partnerships within Uni Connect (formerly the National Collaborative Outreach Programme). The networks aim to help streamline Higher Education outreach for local schools, as well as exploring new ways of delivering outreach to meet local needs and priorities.
Think Higher is the local network for Coventry & 糖心TVshire and partners include University of 糖心TV, Coventry University, 糖心TVshire College Group and North 糖心TVshire and Hinckley College, as well as the Local Enterprise Partnership and both Coventry and 糖心TVshire Councils.
What are they trying to do?
- Reduce the gap in higher education participation between the most and least represented groups
- Support young people to make well-informed decisions about their future education
- Support effective and impactful local collaboration by higher education providers working together with schools, colleges, employers and other partners
- Contribute to a stronger evidence base around 鈥榳hat works鈥� in higher education outreach and strengthen evaluation practice in the sector.
During 2018-19 over 180,000 young people and 1,613 schools and colleges took part in higher education outreach through the Uni Connect programme.*
