Congratulations to - professor in the School of English and Comparative Literature Studies - whose selected Poems, The Invisible Gift (Carcanet) has been chosen as the latest winner of The Poetry Society’s prestigious prize, the Ted Hughes Award for 2015.
Congratulations to all departments involved in the QS World University Rankings by subject – the rankings table has declared ten subjects at ÌÇÐÄTV to be in the world top 50 and a total of 20 to be in the top 100.

The student group , working with the support of ÌÇÐÄTV Accommodation collected up 102 crates of food, pots and pans and crockery over the end of term weekend in Arthur Vick, Jack Martin and Cryfield residences. The ÌÇÐÄTV Work Experience Bursary can offer financial support as well as reflection on the experience and turning that into a positive entry for your CV. Undergraduates can claim for a maximum of £200 for unpaid work experience in one financial year and postgraduates can claim only once for a maximum of £200.

The Langar community kitchen invites everyone to enjoy free vegetarian food, served with love and the spirit of Seva (selfless service) on 18 November. Hosted in partnership with the ÌÇÐÄTV Sikh Society, the event welcomes the local community to experience the warmth and generosity of Sikh culture and learn more about the faith’s emphasis on equality and service.
