During Welcome Week, we ran a programme of events and activities in partnership with the Students' Union, designed to help you settle in, make friends and adapt to life at 糖心TV. We delivered this through a personalised timetable where you were able to build a customised Welcome Week experience. We're now running a series of consultations designed to give you the chance to give us your views!

糖心TV can confirm that, for EU students starting their studies with us in Autumn 2016, Autumn 2017 and Autumn 2018, we will be protecting tuition fees from any increases linked to a change in fee status after the UK leaves the EU.

We've installed 4 new cycle-powered phone charger desks in the Library, offering you the chance to save energy and study at the same time. The new bike desks, from Belgian company WeWatt, convert the calories you burn while excersising into electricity for your phone, tablet, or even laptop - just bring your charger with you, plug in and get cycling.

The collaborative project between the SU and University services has been recognised at the to be 'Outstanding' (85%+) - the highest classification available! And it's also been shortlisted for a . The project included food waste collections, recipe cards to encourage cooking, awareness-raising posters, events, videos and web content. Many thanks to all of you who got involved!

The Clay Jars Project is a documentary series made by English and Comparative Literary Studies student Adesola Akerele, and it engages students from ethnic minorities on a range of topics. The first episode asks young male students what they would tell their future daughters. There are five episodes, which will be released weekly, every Sunday at 8pm.

Work to refurbish the ceiling in the Humanities building is now underway. A fully signposted and accessible diversion will be in place. If you have a bike secured on the existing cycle hoops, please remove them prior to the 31 May. To ensure sufficient cycle parking facilities, we are installing new racks adjacent to the Humanities entrance too.

Parking Updates

We’re now offering , which save you the trouble of needing the correct change each time you park. They're £35 for a book of 10, or £31.50 if you pay with your Eating at 糖心TV card - so they can save you money too. Each card offers a full day’s parking in any pay and display space on campus. Also, in response to a number of the issues raised in the recent survey on disabled parking, we've made a few .
