The ISEAB is responsible for:

Risk management

• Maintaining an international student experience risk register

• Monitoring risks related to international student experience and International Strategy commitments

• Identifying and implementing mitigation actions

• Reporting risks to the International Committee
  
  

Collaboration

• Facilitating cross-departmental collaboration

• Supporting coordination between academic departments and professional services

• Breaking down operational silos
  
  

Lifecycle oversight

• Overseeing international student support across the full student lifecycle

• Supporting enhancements from pre-arrival through post-graduation
  
  

Evidence-based improvement

• Using data, student insight, and sector benchmarking to inform decisions

• Supporting student consultation and co-creation
  
  

Holistic support coordination

• Supporting coordinated, student-centred initiatives

• Promoting inclusive and tailored support approaches
  
  

Project and intervention oversight

• Maintaining a record of international student experience initiatives

• Monitoring project progress and outcomes
  
  

The International Student Experience Advisory Board reports dually into:

• International Committee

• Student Experience Management Group
  
  

The Board supports institutional oversight of international student experience and delivery of International Strategy commitments.

The Board meets at least four times per academic year.

Typical meeting schedule:

• Meeting 1: late August / early September

• Meeting 2: late November

• Meeting 3: February

• Meeting 4: May / June
