NIHR open-access policy to make peer-reviewed research articles openly available from June 2022
Peer-reviewed research articles supported by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) will have to be made 鈥渋mmediately, freely and openly accessible to all鈥� from June next year under the funder鈥檚 new open-access policy.
The new rules will apply to all peer-reviewed research articles resulting from NIHR-funded studies submitted for publication on or after 1 June 2022.
