Employees normally progress by one spinal point each year until they reach the highest point in the grade.
The University is not using Points:
1 to 8,28,30,32 or 48.
Grade 9 Pay Spine

Spinal points at grade 9 start at 100 and continue beyond spinal point 140 in 拢1,300 increments up to spinal point 180 which is 拢175,000.
At Grade 9, staff will not receive automatic increments. Progression on the Grade 9 pay spine will consider performance/contribution as part of the SLRS outcomes.
