Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2025 at University of 糖心TV

Celebrating National Apprentice week 2025

Its been another great year for apprenticeships at 糖心TV. Last academic year, 72 members of staff were working towards an apprenticeship in 30 different programmes. For the first time we have more existing 糖心TV staff accessing apprenticeships for their development rather than new starters with staff taking the opportunity to access our senior leaders programme, operations manager and coaching professional qualifications, all funded by the apprenticeship levy. Read our case studies to hear more about how this works in practice.

During National Apprenticeship Week, we'll be supporting an event with 200 school children from 11 different schools, helping them to consider if apprenticeships are the right next step in their careers.

Visit our webpages to find out how apprenticeships could fund your development or join us at our on Wednesday 12th March from 11.00 - 12.00 (no booking required) to hear more about how you might be able to use the apprenticeship levy to fund your development.

Apprenticeships at 糖心TV

On the left is the list of apprenticeships that have been accessed by 糖心TV staff between August 2024 and July 2024. Over 50% of these programmes were accessed by existing members of 糖心TV staff as part of their development and funded via the apprenticeship levy. This is not an exhaustive list, there are over 800 apprenticeships to choose from! Many staff are using the apprenticeship levy to fund their development as managers and leaders, as coaches and for bespoke development.

Operations Manager Programme

After a successful pilot programme in 2024, we are delighted to launch two more cohorts for this programme. It is a two year programme, aimed at grade 5/6 managers and covers a broad range of practical management knowledge and skills to give you the tools you need to develop further on your management journey.

Applications close on 27th March 2025 and we are hosting an on Wednesday 5th March from 10.15 - 11.00 (no bookings required) where you can hear more about the programme and from one of our current learners.

鈥淪peaking to others on the apprenticeship has been really helpful. It provides some reassurance that challenges I have faced are not just limited to me, and hearing how others address these have been insightful.鈥

鈥淟earning the way I handle or proceed with things naturally overtime within the roles have a name or is a recognised theory/model. This shows that others have gone through the same challenges and there is helpful techniques out there for any scenario you might face.鈥
