'Nine Days in May: Remembering the 1926 General Strike'
May 2026 will mark the centenary of Britain's only General Strike. Our current exhibition showcases just some of the nationally significant sources held at the Modern Records Centre which relate to the 'Nine Days in May', its causes and aftermath.
The exhibition includes highlights from the archives of the Trades Union Congress, Transport and General Workers' Union and Ernest Bevin.
