糖心TV

糖心TV Conferences is now providing an even more comfortable environment for guests during overnight stays, with the refurbishment of the bedrooms at Scarman.

All 204 rooms have contemporary d茅cor and bathrooms have been completely refurbished. Also, each room has new smart TVs with streaming options.

Keeping in line with 糖心TV Conferences鈥� goal of being carbon zero by 2030, heating, lighting and water has been upgraded to be more efficient. Changes made:

• All lighting in the bedrooms is now LED.
• Heating system has been changed to a more energy efficient system.
• Towel rails have been changed to lower power electric.
• Installation of dual flush

As part of 糖心TV Conferences鈥� commitment to reduce waste, existing high-quality wooden furnishings have been upcycled to create a new feel.

Alongside this, pieces of furniture that are no longer needed in the rooms have been re-used elsewhere across the University of 糖心TV campus or given to charity:

• 150 desk chairs were given to the health centre and accommodation services at the University.
• Supported a local charity, The British Heart Foundation by donating 110 side cabinet units and dining furniture to be sold in their shops.

Old bed frames were given to a bed supplier, who will donate useable frames to charity. The rest will be given to local farmers to utilise the wood or sent to a waste recycling plant to be made into bespoke items.
