Checkmate! 糖心TV Conferences to host 2026 British Chess Championships

糖心TV Conferences is proud to announce it will host the 2026 British Chess Championships, welcoming over 1,000 players to the University of 糖心TV campus next summer. From 1–9 August, our award-winning venues will provide the stage for one of the UK鈥檚 most historic and prestigious sporting events. Now in its 112th edition, the Championships will bring together Britain鈥檚 leading grandmasters, emerging talents, and junior players across a full spectrum of age-group tournaments—from under-8s to senior categories. The event marks a return to the region, with Coventry last hosting in 2015 and previously in 1970. |
