5. Starting your first job
Starting your career is exciting but it鈥檚 natural to feel anxious about what to expect. The transition from university to work is a big step but there should be lots of support available in the workplace - your employer may have organised a mentor as part of your graduate scheme. And there will be experienced colleagues whose advice will be invaluable, as well as other new graduates to make connections with.
It could be the start of a long career with the same company, but careers can also evolve and be unpredictable, so don鈥檛 worry about becoming 鈥榮tuck鈥 or that this first job defines your whole career.
