From Baku to Bel茅m: The Climate Finance Roadmap to COP 30, 4 March 2025
We are pleased to invite you to a workshop titled From Baku to Bel茅m: The Climate Finance Roadmap to COP 30, which will take place on 4th March 2025 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at WBS London, The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG.
As part of the global preparation for COP30 in Bel茅m, Brazil, this event will critically examine the outcomes of COP29 and lay the groundwork for the scaling of climate finance in the years ahead. The agreement made at COP29 in Baku on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG) commits developed countries to mobilise at least US$300 billion annually for climate finance by 2035, paving the way for the ambitious goal of US$1.3 trillion per year by 2035.
This workshop will provide a platform for leading experts, negotiators, policymakers, and academics to engage in high-level discussions around the future of climate finance and the strategies needed to ensure equitable climate action in the lead-up to COP30.
