How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

From the top to the very top: measuring and selecting corporate executives

The expansion of executive training programmes has provided a fertile ground for research on organisational behaviour related specifically to individual advancement at the highest levels of firm leadership. This is partially because of the direct access to employees as well as the ability to tailor measurement specifically to the topics of interest to the organisation. However, with so many possible factors to measure, how can we understand which traits take individuals from senior professionals to corporate executives? This work-in-progress presentation will overview one ongoing attempt at measuring senior professionals in various organisations based specifically on their firm's needs, their access to training, and preliminary findings on the decision-making process of selecting those individuals. We will open debate about some challenges faced and how they have thus far been addressed, as well as how they may relate to wider research about corporate leadership.
