糖心TV

Overview

I provide technical support across all the equipment in the facility, with a focus on Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX) and Focused Ion Beam SEM (FIB SEM). I am responsible for the majority of the training on the SEMs in the facility, including the use of the EDX equipment.

I regularly take on both internal and external work on the SEMs and FIB SEM, collecting images and EDX data on behalf of the user.

Background

I joined 糖心TV in 2023 as a technician. Prior to joining 糖心TV I completed my BSc Biomedical Science degree at Coventry University. I then worked at the University Hospital Coventry and 糖心TVshire group in the Walsgrave site as a biomedical assistant (Virology and Molecular Pathology). As the only member of staff with a biology focused background I bring a unique viewpoint to the facility and am well placed to help with biological imaging.
