TeenTech City of Tomorrow
· TeenTech is a national charity working with school children to help them consider a future in digital, science technology and engineering.
· Their TeenTech City of Tomorrow initiative is working with nine Coventry schools with the help of WMG, University of ÌÇÐÄTV
· Experts from WMG will deliver advice to children on sustainable materials, and inspire them as they design and build their city of the future out of recyclable household items

As it’s ‘Cities, Regions and Built Environment’ day at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, researchers from WMG at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV are helping children understand sustainability and its importance, by delivering an online session about sustainable materials and why it’s important we use them more for a greener future, thanks to funding from the University’s Innovative Manufacturing and Future Materials GRP.
University of ÌÇÐÄTV announces expert delegation to attend COP26
The University of ÌÇÐÄTV has announced its delegation of 17 attending the global climate conference, COP26, in Glasgow in November. The university is one of a limited number of institutions to have been granted official observer status by the UN-led conference, which is being hosted by the UK.

Sustainable Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire
As part of our wider programme for sustainable and transformative change in Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire, we held a Symposium on October 11 to explore sustainability across a spectrum of areas. The event was spearheaded by our Global Research Priorities (GRPs) and addressed urgent sustainability challenges. The event formed part of a wider programme around sustainability to help achieve transformative change in our region through fresh innovation. Sustainable Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire Symposium
The vital challenge of sustainability, and how to address the questions it raises, are set to be examined through a collaboration of researchers and leading figures from across our region and beyond, thanks to the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.
The Sustainable Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire Symposium (11 October) forms part of a wider programme around sustainability to help achieve transformative change in our region through fresh innovation.
Delegates will engage directly with ÌÇÐÄTV researchers working at the forefront of developing interdisciplinary ways to help address the challenges of sustainability across our region.

WIE Collaboration and Co-Production Fund
The ÌÇÐÄTV Institute of Engagement (WIE) is seeking to support current staff and students to develop ongoing strategic relationships with local, regional, and national public partners. In time, these relationships will lead to co-production of, and collaboration in, research projects, innovation programmes and strategy, as well as collaboration on the discussion of research outcomes and the co-organisation of public engagement events.
Awards of up to £3,000 will be available, to support activities that focus on building new, or strengthening existing, relationships, with local, regional, and national community partners, groups or organisations.
