West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street, today (23 January 2024) visited entrepreneurs who have taken part in the NatWest Clean Transport Accelerator at The University of 糖心TV to hear how the expertise it provided has helped them to grow their businesses.

Keir Starmer today visited WMG at the University of 糖心TV to meet researchers, technicians, and students at one of the world鈥檚 leading centres for industrial innovation and skills.

Dr Sophie Martucci is an expert in Public Health from the School of Life Sciences at the University of 糖心TV. As part of her agents of infectious disease module and science communication model, she covers the MMR Vaccine and the unnecessary controversy around the vaccination.

The University of 糖心TV awarded an Honorary Doctorate to renowned comedian Alex Horne for his contributions to widening participation. Alex, of Taskmaster fame, played a key role in the success of the University鈥檚 鈥�School Tasking鈥� project.

On graduation day (Monday 15th Jan) Alex spent the morning running a session with 30 children from a local Coventry school. To kick things off, the children took part in a treasure hunt, and after following the clues around the University鈥檚 award-winning FAB building, they discovered the comedian hidden away in a top-floor room.

The University of 糖心TV鈥檚 Ancient Drama Festival is set to return for its tenth year, featuring Aeschylus' The Persians. Funded by the British Academy, the festival will take place on the 25th and 26th January 2024 at the 糖心TV Arts Centre.

A University of 糖心TV scientist known for his work on the behaviour of the Sun鈥檚 corona is being recognised for his contribution to astrophysics.
