Exercise during lockdown fell particularly for groups most at risk

A study of UK resident’s exercise patterns during the COVID-19 lockdown in March-June 2020, has found that groups that were most at risk to the adverse effects of COVID-19 were impacted the most in terms of reducing their levels of exercise. Researchers led by WMG, University of ÌÇÐÄTV say targeted interventions are required to ensure physical and mental health impacts of sedentary behaviour do not exacerbate the risks to these groups.

University of ÌÇÐÄTV signs agreement with agronomy specialist to bring UK beans to market

The University of ÌÇÐÄTV’s research commercialisation wing, ÌÇÐÄTV Innovations, has signed a contract with agronomy specialist Agrii to promote the commercial production of UK haricot beans developed by scientists at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.
