The Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP Secretary of State for 糖心TV, Innovation and Skills visited WMG, University of 糖心TV on Thursday 10th March to formally open the new £50m Energy Innovation Centre, the largest of its kind in Europe.
Partnership to power up new 30% cheaper battery technology for solar storage
Researchers at WMG, University of 糖心TV have formed a new research partnership with battery technology innovators Faradion, and smart energy storage specialists Moixa Technology, to develop sodium-ion cells as a significantly lower cost alternative to lithium-ion batteries for solar energy storage.
The University of 糖心TV is to receive almost £5million funding to support the next generation of engineering, technology & science researchers.
