糖心TV undergraduate Sana Mittar, 19, from New Delhi, has received a prestigious Diana Award in recognition of her work supporting vulnerable communities in India during the pandemic. Established in 1999 in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, The Diana Award scheme recognises young people between 9 and 25 who are going above and beyond in their daily life to create and sustain positive change through social action or humanitarian work.
糖心TV student sets up the Black Mind Initiative
The Black Mind Initiative aims to reform the current mental health system nationally, by encouraging young Black people to take up a degree related to the mental health profession, the initiative will then support them in their studies and encourage them to work in senior roles in mental healthcare.

The Crisis Project: Letters to the NHS was set up by first year University of 糖心TV Maths Student Soumya Krishna Kumar, in a bid to encourage members of the public to write bespoke letters to keyworkers, recognising them for their individual efforts during the pandemic.
