As term comes to an end, conference season gets into full swing! Humans of 糖心TV continues with Emma Willis, 糖心TV Development Manager, 糖心TV Conferences.

As we mark this special day, we鈥檙e highlighting the incredible achievements of our staff, students and alumnae. From rising stars to established leaders, women in WMG and Engineering are shaping the world around us, breaking down barriers and opening new doors for the next generation.

Congratulations to Lara Fernandes, Enzo Lim and Hamed Khan who won first prize in the Engineers without Borders Grand Finals of the Engineering for People Design Challenge. The process this year involved over 10000 students attempting the design challenge. This is then reduced to five teams per university for review by the judges, out of which 36 teams are invited to make pitches at the final event. Our students excelled among all the groups in both the quality of their designs and their pitches, especially with their focus on all the 3 pillars of sustainability.

In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day, WMG are highlighting the incredible achievements of our alumnae, staff and students. From rising stars to established leaders, these women are shaping the world around us, breaking down barriers, and opening new doors for the next generation.
