The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has awarded Dr Felicity Boardman its coveted Future Research Leaders funding stream for her project 'Selecting Futures: The Social and Ethical Implications of Genetic Screening'.

Postgraduate student Zehra Irshad was recently awarded the first prize for the best poster presentation at an international symposium on Maillard Reaction in France.
