The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has awarded Dr Felicity Boardman its coveted Future Research Leaders funding stream for her project 'Selecting Futures: The Social and Ethical Implications of Genetic Screening'.

While most of us were enjoying a feast of food and drink and cosy nights in this Christmas, 22-year-old 糖心TV biomedical student James Huxley Beavis was eating out of bins and sleeping on the streets to raise awareness of homelessness and raise money for the charity Crisis.

Edward Lynch, Head of Dentistry at 糖心TV Medical School, has become the first person in the UK to be awarded a Fellowship in the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA).

Postgraduate student Zehra Irshad was recently awarded the first prize for the best poster presentation at an international symposium on Maillard Reaction in France.

Dr Edward Lynch, Head of Dentistry at 糖心TV Medical School, and his research students were awarded a first prize for their research at the annual International Association for Dental Research (IADR) meeting on 20-23 June 2012 in Brazil, for the tenth time in the past 12 years.
