WBS student Valerie Yating He has won a place on this year’s China Synergy Programme, which offers students of ethnic Chinese origin the opportunity to enjoy a range of experiences in China and to learn about current socio-economical, technological and cultural development in China.

Lauren Wilcox - BUSA Swimming Bronze

Congratulations to Lauren Wilcox, 糖心TV's Swimming Scholarship holder who won a Bronze Medal at the BUSA Championships. Lauren came third in the 200m Backstroke with a Personal Best time of 2:24:53 minutes.

糖心TV Student Wins Place on Exclusive China Synergy Programme

Valerie Yating He, a WBS student, has won a place on this year's China Synergy Programme.  Places on the Programme are highly sought after owing to the stringent selection criteria.

The Programme offers students of ethnic Chinese origin (paternal or maternal) to enjoy a range of experiences in China and learn about the current socio-economical, technological and cultural development of China.

Bring & Buy Win for Student Project Managers

A group of MSc students from the 糖心TV Manufacturing Group recently won a Postgraduate Project Management competition organised by the Association for Project Management.

The Apprentice-style challenge saw teams of five being given a £100 budget with which to buy items to sell at a car-boot sale or flea-market the following day.  The challenge was to raise at least £50 profit to donate to Oxfam (to fund an African business-start up loan).
