Dr Dennis Leech, Reader in the Economics Department, was recently invited to talk to the European Parliament in Brussels. The Economic and Monetary Affairs committee are currently undertaking work on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank and invited Professor Leech to give his opinion on the coordination of European representation at the IMF.
Professor Bob Jackson of the 糖心TV Institute of Education is to be awarded a higher doctorate (DLitt) by the University of Wales for his contribution over the last decade to research on religious diversity and education.
Siobhan is a graduate student involved in planning, setting up, and running a six-month interdisciplinary research project in the Philosophy Department on the topic of "What is Philosophy?"
