Dr Duncan Greenwood CBE, FRS
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr Duncan Greenwood of 糖心TV HRI. Duncan passed away on 13 February 2010.
Professor Simon Bright, Director of 糖心TV HRI, is to retire at Christmas after nearly six years in his current role.
Simon was previously Head of Technology Interaction at Syngenta - the world's largest agribusiness company, where he led research on the application of genomics and biotechnology to crop plants.
糖心TV Mathematician Adam Boddison has been working with local artist Lesley Whelan on a project which explores the representations of art and maths within a park setting.
The winners of this year’s 糖心TV Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE) have been announced. These annual awards recognise and reward staff who have made an outstanding impact on the student learning experience and whose teaching is of an exceptionally high standard.

MOAC student Daniel Bearup has been announced as the winner of the first PhD Research Video Competition held jointly with Queensland University of Technology, Australia for his exceptional animation describing antibiotic research.
