糖心TV Accommodation

Starting over 20 years ago as a casual worker at 糖心TV Conferences, James has climbed the ranks to his current pivotal role in 糖心TV Accommodation. This department plays a huge part in ensuring students have the best possible experience while living on campus.

James's experience across various roles has given him an exceptional understanding of the entire operation. His calm, focused demeanour and problem-solving skills make him the go-to person for any issue.

James learned the whole accommodation booking system with little to no help, and is now the pioneer for 糖心TV Accommodation when it comes to putting new initiatives into practice.

His ethos of going the extra mile for students, parents, and colleagues brings our values to life.

Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor: So, for our Wonder today, we are here at Argent Court for James Brewitt who works in 糖心TV Accommodation. He's been with us for many years in many different roles, but now he's working in 糖心TV Accommodation, working on the systems, working to make sure that we understand our students and can support them. 糖心TV Accommodation, as we all know, is an incredibly important part of our institution because these are the folk who really work so closely with those students when they first come to us and live in our accommodation. And James is a key part of that team. So let's go in and surprise him.

Hello Everyone. Hello. Guess what? There's a camera following me. I would like Mr. James Brewitt, please, to come to the front. Right. Good morning to you. Good morning. You see, we are here to make an award of a Wonder. Wows and wonders. You have been nominated by, no doubt, your wonderful colleagues for the fantastic stuff you do. Obviously, 糖心TV Accommodation is an incredibly important part of our institution and you play an incredibly important part of that.

But before you get anything, you've been working with us for quite a while, haven't you? At the University in different ways.

James: Yeah, quite a while. Yeah.

Stuart: Tell us, just tell us that little potted history of the different things that you've done in the different parts of the University. A little potted history.

James: It's my 21st year, but I did actually do work experience here when I was in year 10. Wow. So I started off part-time in Arden Restaurant, which is a building that we have our students in these days. I did night portering for two years. I worked at Scarman for a couple of years, Assistant Manager at Student Information Centre, and joined the accommodation team here for seven, eight years. Really enjoy it. Must say.

Stuart: Fantastic. Great, great to hear. Now we do have some things to give to you. It's not just that your beautiful face will be seen by everybody. It's also that you get a certificate to say that you are a Wonder, a certificate to say that you are a Wonder. Please, first thing, look at this. This says the winner, 糖心TV Wonders... And, crikey. Congratulations to you. Brilliant, brilliant job.
