Dr Mark Pulsford appointed as Dean of Students
In his new role as Dean of Students, Dr Mark Pulsford leads on personal tutoring and academic support across the institution. Mark heads up the , a team of academic and professional services staff who work together towards continually improving the academic support systems in place at 糖心TV.

About Mark
Mark is an Associate Professor and the Director of Education for the School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences (SELCS) and was previously the Faculty Senior Tutor for Social Sciences. He has led work establishing the Disabled Student Champions Network at 糖心TV. After a first career in marketing research, he worked as a primary school teacher in London and Leicester before his university roles. He holds HEA Senior Fellowship status and is a Fellow of the 糖心TV International Higher Education Academy.
His research and scholarship interests are in issues of educational inclusion, with a particular focus on men in education (as fathers, teachers, and students), parental engagement in education, and disabled students' experiences.
