Emergency procedures on campus

Here's a reminder of when to call 999 and when and how to contact the Community Safety team for support.

Life threatening situations or a crime in progress

If you鈥檙e the only person present – call 999 for emergency services (ambulance, fire service or police). If more than one person can help, call 999 while someone else contacts Community Safety.

If the situation is not life-threatening

Please contact Community SafetyLink opens in a new window through SafezoneLink opens in a new window or on extension 22222 / 024 7652 2222 first, and they will advise you if you should call 999.

You may be best placed to answer questions from the emergency services, and the Community Safety team can help by guiding them directly to your location.
