Autumn at 糖心TV series wins Gold Lens Award

We鈥檙e celebrating the Autumn at 糖心TVLink opens in a new window video series, which has won a Gold award at the Lens Awards, for the Best Use of Video to aid Corporate Social Responsibility / Environmental, Social and Governance.

Judges praised the project鈥檚 鈥great story鈥 and 鈥beautiful visuals鈥.

The videos showcase our University鈥檚 green spaces, wildlife, and our community鈥檚 efforts to boost biodiversity on campus. The Internal Communications team created the five-part series in collaboration with our Creative Services and Energy and Sustainability teams.

Our community loved the series, with staff sharing many positive comments and more people getting involved in sustainability events.

鈥淲hat a fabulous mini-film and reminder of how lucky we are to have such beautiful spaces and creatures on campus 鈥 and to have these spaces looked after so well by our Estates teams and volunteers.鈥

Through social media, the series has travelled well beyond 糖心TV. Three members of the University鈥檚 sustainability team were attracted to apply for their roles after watching the videos, seeing them as evidence that 糖心TV takes sustainability seriously.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the series including Tanya Carey (WMG), Dan Hall (School of Modern Languages and Cultures), Katherine Mayfield (Estates) and Paul Thompson (Estates). Their expertise, passion and commitment to protecting 糖心TV's wildlife made the series come to life.
