Analytics transforms data into information and provides insights to support organisations in making better decisions. Our academics conduct research in different areas of analytics including descriptive analytics and process management, predictive analytics and AI (machine learning), prescriptive analytics and decision making under uncertainty. Our research interests are broad and multidisciplinary with expertise in financial technology, revenue management, social media, transportation, and healthcare.

The DSSGx UK 2023 event, held at The Shard, showcased impactful projects addressing issues like deforestation, greenwashing, and educational support, with keynote insights from Sir Bernard Silverman on data science鈥檚 role in combating modern slavery.
